Court of Arbitration of Sports has extended deadline on
Vinesh’s appeal for joint silver medal. Senior advocate Harris Salve agreed to
represent Phogat against her disqualification from Olympics. The Court of
Arbitration of Sport (CAS) has postponed the date for final verdict on 13th
August.
The CAS expressed apology for “the confusion and inconvenience” caused due to the postpone of Phogat’s case. CAS has decided to take some time more to reach to the final verdict for the wrestler’s justice against being disqualified from the Olympics and bot receiving a joint silver medal.
